Easy-fitness

Easy-fitness is a concept design aim to make exercise easy for office workers at home. Simulation of running through the projection of the scene and to detect limb movements via somatosensory technology. The simulated scene moves along with the user's running speed, making the user experience in a real interaction space. Each time the results of the movement will be recorded in the APP.

This project is a conceptual product, started by two girls who want to make a better exercise experience. We hope to use new technologies to create a new type of method.

Background

Taipei always rainy and wet. There are many office workers sitting for a long time and working overtime and they rarely go out for exercise. Many people will choose to do exercise at home via the sports APP, such as Nike training or Keep. This provides them as an alternative for those who do not have the budget to go to the gym since training and exercising at home is in the recent trend.

Our challenge is to create an interesting alternative to exercising indoors, so by using the projector, projecting of the simulation environment and alongside, the scene moves and interacts based off the user's running conditions. We focused on the app design because most of the steps are in it. We hope to guide users to complete the pre-set step-by-step.

Choose Environment

You can choose the area you want to simulate in the Easyfitness app, such as Singapore Park. Each simulated exercise environment shows distance and the expected amount of calories consumed. Users can choose the appropriate exercise intensity according to their own physical condition

Set Goal

Each exercise is a continuous improvement of the path. The user can record the results of the exercise into Easyfitness app to view their own status.

Goal

The daily recommended challenge is shows on the menu with the top. The bottom of the interface shows unfinished, completed challenges and shows progress. After each card is clicked, there will be a detailed record of each challenge.

Record

You can see each running record on the record page and show whether to complete this challenge. You can see more details after entering. If there are unfinished challenges, it will be a button below whether to continue the challenge.
